Robert lived another 11 years before he died, he is buried in Macon,Georga. When his grandparents passed away, Gary

Mrs. Jenkins of 106 West Ridge Circle, and her maid Mrs. Lola
Williams of 926 High Street Lane, were killed in the two car collision
in Morgan County, Three other persons were sent to the hospital.
State patrolmen said the car driven by mrs. Jenkins went out of
Control and crashed into an auto driven by Mrs. Mazell Phelps 28
of Madison. The accident occurred on U.S. 441.
Mrs. Jenkins was returning to Macon after visiting for the day with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Higgins of Carnesville. She was
secretary for Southren Bell Co. and a native of Franklin County where
she also was a graduate of the Georgia Alabama Business School. She
had lived here for 20 years and was a member of Carnesville Baptist
Church.
Survivors include one daughter Miss Susan Jenkins of Macon who was
injured in the wreck; her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Patrick Little of
Decatur and Mrs. Jimmy Turner of Martin; two brothers, Paul Higgins
of Chamblee and Fred Higgins of College Park.

a retired railroad employee died Wednesday in York Manor.
Services have tentatively been set for Friday afternoon by
Lescher Funeral Home.
Born 14 June 1892, in Carbondale, Alabama, and a Muskogee,
resident since 1912. Jenkins was married to Lillie Mae Jenkins
who died 29 June 1975.
He was a member of East Central Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge
502, McAlester Cousistory, American Legion, and Brotherhood of
Locomotive Engineers.
He retired from the Kansas, Oklahoma and Gulf Railroad in 1962. He
served in the U.S. Army during World War 1.
Survivors include a son Dan Jr. of Muskogee; a daughter Colleen Norton
of St. Louis, Missouri. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
